Tucson is located in Southern Arizona, roughly two hours South of Phoenix and one hour North of the Mexican border. The population of the Tucson Metropolitan area is just over one million and growing fast! The Tucson International Airport is located just 10 minutes South of the heart of the city and has eight airlines able to take you to eighteen nonstop locations, and more than 345 locations worldwide. With 350+ days of sunshine, there is no better place to call home!

Tucson is a cultural mecca for cuisine in the Southwest and was UNESCO’s first recognized Creative City of Gastronomy (2015). Considered the best 23 miles of Mexican food in America, the country’s oldest Mexican food restaurant, El Charro Cafe was founded in Tucson in 1922.

The Arizona-Sonoran Desert Museum is voted #11 for the Travelers’ Choice of the top 25 museums in the US. This boasts an immersive experience of the fauna and flora of the desert Southwest.

Tucson has a lively music, theatre, and arts scene. With a rich history in film making and a reputation for stunning murals, this city satisfies any art enthusiast.

Exploring Outdoors

With over 100 trails in the Tucson area, it is truly a hiker’s paradise. If you’re looking to escape the heat, travel to Mount Lemmon, just one hour North of central Tucson where you can enjoy cooler temperatures and in winter, the Southernmost ski lifts in the Northern hemisphere. If cycling is something you prefer, enjoy the Loop, a 131 mile path rated #1 for USA Today for Readers’ Choice for the best recreation trail in the US. Tucson also boasts one of the largest road cycling events in the country, “El Tour de Tucson” every November. With 100, 57, and 28 mile distances along with fun runs, it is an event that is pivotal to Tucson’s athletic calendar.
